Instream Energy Systems is an early-stage renewable energy company focused on developing and installing hydrokinetic power generation systems.  Instream is the first company to have successfully deployed and field-trialed an array of vertical axis hydrokinetic turbines.  From point of site delivery, the installation generated electricity in under five weeks.  Instream is now using data obtained from this project to develop the next generation of hydrokinetic systems, in collaboration with BAE Systems and Powertech Labs.
